You Need More than Left Handed Mouses - Online Gaming Tips and Tricks

By Elnora Fernandez

It's not unusual for a person to experience a little lack of confidence when just getting their toes wet in online gaming. It often seems like everybody you encounter is already well versed in the game and has no patience for "noobs" like you.

You don't need a left handed mouse give it a rest. It is necessary to take a break from gaming from time to time. You need to be conscientous of the need to care for your body by recognizing the importance of taking a break from gaming every now and then. Those who find themselves sleep deprived and forgetting to eat will also notice they are more frustrated with their poor gaming skills. That's right, those MMORPG's are indeed addictive. Your friends will appreciate it when you do yourself and them a favor by taking regular breaks to be more social. It is better to go back to the game feeling refreshed than to keep playing and get burned out. No need to go there too much about connecting speeds on the net. Dial-up speeds kind of suck, let's face it, so hopefully you can do something or go somewhere if you currently have it. We're not quite sure what to tell you if you have an old, slow PC - do something to upgrade. So check-out the spec requirements for whatever you'll be doing and try to get yourself there. The quickest, fastest, and best way to go is take a look at the game you really want to play and see what the specs call out. Be careful because you won't be happy if you buy, install, and then it's not working as it should.

Once you choose your game, then fine out where the players hang-out, like forums, and get in there and start learning, networking, and building your rep. What's the purpose for doing so? Remember - you need to show your community that you're involved and committed; so to that end you have to be there, be knowledgeable and informed; plus there are game fixes/patches that come out as well as other info. Some of these things are only announced on forums or blogs so try your best to keep up.

Just try not to be like the Terminator when you're gaming. There is an appreciation for humility with your playing amongst others. If you can do something a lot better than someone else, be cool about it and don't bust their stones. You will lose at some games, even if you're good, so take it well and avoid upset. Be straight and even about it, tell them you enjoyed the game, congratulations, and thank them. When things don't turn out just right, it will help you to do an honest assessment as to why you lost. This alone should make you very popular on your gaming server.

You and everyone else plays online games because they're fun, and that's all anyone wants to have - fun. If you let things go too far, then your ability to enjoy it will go down.

If you play like you're superior, and you're a spoiled brat; that's a fast way to people ignoring you and not wanting you around. If you need a left-handed mouse, that's cool and get one; but just keep everything in perspective. Left handed mouses are only a tiny part of what makes online gaming fun.
