How Can Level 68+ WOW Toon Make World of Warcraft Gold in WotLK

By Zulema Arabajian

Most of the players in World of Warcraft choose crafting profession based on the profession bonuses, to master new things in the game, or to fill their guild need for a particular craft. They might craft and sell the items they get from crafting, but they seldom focus on making World of Warcraft Gold. What's more, they usually earn gold through spamming trade chat with their services, asking buyers to supply materials (mats) and making gold solely on the tips.

In the six weeks prior to the WotLK release, I make 20, 000 gold in World of Warcraft, and I did it through a lot of hard work and focusing on the AH. My main focus during that time was on making gold, as I knew that once the WotLK expansion came out, everyone would be focusing on leveling in WotLK and the World of Warcraft economy would experience a quick and severe downturn. Prices for formerly pricey items would shed dramatically as purchasers ceased purchasing and concentrated on leveling in WotLK as quickly as they can.

You can create a system to maximize your gold profits, targeting the buyers who go to the AH to buy items they want right away. You can get crafters who advertise their services in trade chat crafting to suit your needs, then post them on the AH for the buyers who go straight to the AH.

Use this for the advantage and purchase them once they are reduced enough for the bankroll and wait for a day or two when all the reduced outlined items are bought out along using the higher-end prices are left. This leaves you the chance to undercut those prices but at a much higher price than what you have compensated for. Even if the profit you make from listing an undercut item is, let's say 25g, and you also sell 10 items for that profit, then you definitely have created yourself 250g!

After you list for profit in the AH, do not list all of your products at once. Based on demand and the total amount of active auctions, you should only list among the 1 and 5 of your item. This could preserve the perception of rarity (which keeps the pricing high) and will prevent the crafters of that item which DO sell them for the AH from getting angry with you for flooding the market.
