Team Fortress 2 Characters Uncovered

By Dirik Hameed

9 different classes all with different abilities, its own skin and individual skills and abilities along with health and movement defences. Like CSS game servers, Team Fortress 2 has a big community of mod and map developers out there working hard to make the game better for everyone. So Team Fortress 2 game servers have been out for 2 years and the game is still as popular as it was when it came out

Team Fortress 2 servers have 9 classes that are split into 3 sub classes based on support, defensive and offensive. You don't have to play them as those roles but they have been developed so that their weapons and skills are best used in those positions.

Defence will be the difference between you winning on Team Fortress 2 servers or losing it. Having a good back line is needed to stop the scout from sneaking through your defence.

Without using the bottle to melee, and without a proper gun you need to be skilled to play this class. The Demoman uses the game engine and physics to his advantage. The grenade launcher is extremely strong and can take our classes with small healths with just a couple of hits. The grenade launcher is also great for taking sentry guns that are around tight corners with relative ease. Another good tactic is using sticky grenades near tight corridors or intelligence or control points. Just lay a few where they won't be easily seen and watch the kills roll in. Try this class if you are awful at aiming, but like explosions!

Our next class is the Heavy. This chap really has some meat behind his punch. His high health and most powerful gun makes up for the fact he's the slowest of all the classes. In fact, he'll take out the other classes with ease. The only thing he struggles is if he meets his opposite number from the other team. With his large range, he can take on lots of enemies at the same time. But with his slow speed it takes him a couple of seconds to rev up that mini gun. Don't expect to move far once you have got it going as you will be slower than your Gran with a zimmer frame!! Covering while they take out the enemy, heavies work best when they are protected at short range. If you want to make an impression on game servers, pick this guy!

The engineer would normally only fire when being attacked directly. He should maintain and deploy buildings for his team. They are best known for his sentry gun which he can upgraded with a twist of his wrench. However, you need to gather metal either from downed players, ammo crates and also their own dispensers. The dispensers will also resupply nearby units as well. Teleprinters allow classes to instantly move from one section of the map to another. This may be from the spawn to an obscure place outside the enemies base. When it comes to getting their hands dirty they are not down and out with their slightly generic weapons. However they can be effective at medium range with their turrets and tend to sit in cover. Want a turret to get your kills while you sit back and relax? Then the Engineer is the class for you.
