Finding The Best Flight Simulator Can A Challenge

By Ron Brendson

When you're searching for the best flight simulators, you may have to do some digging. The reason for this is because there are so many games out there. Many are very low quality. But, if you follow the three tips I have in this article you will be fine. Specifically, I'll list 3 things to avoid in a flight simulator.

The first thing that you should avoid when buying a flight simulator is not having a warranty on the game. I always want a game that has longer than a 1 year warranty. If the game only has a 1 year or less warranty, I generally avoid the game altogether. Additionally, avoid flight simulators that don't have a money back guarantee of at least 90 days.

The 2nd facet of a flight game that I want to avoid is a release date prior to 2008. If the game was made before this time, I won't even consider buying it, and neither should you. So, be sure to check this aspect of the game before you commit to it. Several times, on accident, I've bought a game that was more than 4 years old, and I paid the price for those mistakes.

The last characteristic of game that is definitely a turn off to me is if it doesn't have great graphics. It's wonderful if the game offers a demo, which allows you to play the game before committing to buying it. Many flight simulators won't have this, so finding one that does may be a challenge in itself. But don't give up. The more effort you put in to find a good game, the more you'll likely enjoy it.

My goal for this article was to help answer any questions you may have had about what constitutes the best flight simulator games. To me, these three features are almost always included in a great game. Just make sure to avoid the 3 things I mentioned and you will almost always get a good game. There's nothing worse than realizing that you just wasted your money on a bad game.
