Buying Gold For World of Warcraft

By Glenn P Griffin

There is little doubt that acquiring gold is one of the most vital and necessary elements in World of Warcraft. Unfortunately, it's also one of the most repetitive and time consuming endeavors on the game. Playing an MMORPG game in our spare time is suppose to be fun, but that fun can quickly develop into a chore when you spend hours farming and grinding. Naturally, you may want to look for more efficient ways to make more gold in less time.

Warcraft players, as well as those of any MMORPG game have experienced the arduous task of leveling up their character, getting gold, and collecting items and equipment. These games were purposely designed this way. Game designers know that players who invest hours in their quest will less likely give it all up by ending your subscription. No one after all would want to call it quits after reaching level 80, accumulating a good amount of gold, and getting good PvP arena ratings. By keeping you hooked, you continue to remain a loyal and paying customer.

Returning to the subject, there are players so dedicated to their gaming that they will look for shortcuts to acquire more gold. These shortcuts often involve buying Warcraft gold from websites using real money. To a lot of people, especially non gamers, that sounds crazy, if not downright stupid. Regardless, there exist players that have become so addicted to the game that they will resort to whatever tactic they feel is necessary to give them an edge over other players.

You may be thinking that these players are more in touch with the fantasy world of the game than they are with reality in the real world. However, it's reasonable to understand the player's motives for choosing to purchase Warcraft gold. Despite the stereotypes, Warcraft players are everyday normal people with a family, job, and responsibilities. Warcraft is their way of enjoying their free time, and they want to have fun while their at it. It's not so fun when their play session is spent going through the zombie like motions of farming and grinding.

Purchasing Warcraft gold however, can have its consequences. Blizzard, the company behind Warcraft, frowns on this practice. The reason for this is that while most gold sellers are legitimate, others obtain the gold they sell by hacking into the accounts of other players. For all you know, they could have hacked into your account, in which case you would be purchasing gold that was yours to begin with! Players who are caught purchasing gold also face a possible suspension of their account.

The decision to buy Warcraft gold is yours to make alone, I am not writing this to convince you otherwise. Just know that Blizzard is keeping a sharp eye out for those who do, and they will not hesitate to reign down the hammer on those who break these rules.
