Zynga's power source - a tale about Pincus - first part

For a very long time, a bunch of almost twenty (20) guys would meet in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco or else the neighboring Presidio Park for Saturday and Sunday games of soccer. Between them was a mate whose 5-foot 6-inch stature belied his ruthless competitiveness and who was typically accompanied by his American bulldog, called Zinga.

That fella was Mark Pincus, the chief executive of online games development company Zynga Inc, which strives to float on the NASDAQ stock exchange soon in an public offering that would value the company at close to $9 billion.

Traders eying Zynga would be far better to just thoroughly know its CEO, who will preserve firm dominate over the company even after it moves public: a special class of shares helps to provide Pincus 37 percent of voting capability, while his equity stake slips to 12 per cents.
