The Top First Timer's Help Guide To The Latest Installment Of "World Of Warcraft"

By Kurt Hennigan

In World of Warcraft, the creation of a new race always brings with it a brand new starting area that isn't only their homeland, but is generally filled with quests which have been very carefully picked to enhance the new race. These adventures are created not only to help you reach level 10 in a short time period, but to help you find out more about your brand-new character.

In all the past expansion packs, each faction was given its own new race. For example in Cataclysm we had Worgens for the Alliance and Goblins for the Horde. At the same time there were two various faction based starting areas. In Mists of Pandaria a totally new concept has been introduced, you need to total all of the starting area tasks prior to choosing which faction your Monk will join.

You begin by hiring a group of elemental spirits as well as bringing them along with you to the temple in the center of the starting area. This place harkens to the appearance of ancient China, since you will quest through lush bamboo forests, past incredibly lovely temples as well as wide farmlands. After you have recruited your spirits you'll take a hot air balloon journey to meet the turtle that believes he has a thorn in his side.

What you're planning to find rather is that it is a crashed airship that you have to take away by blasting it out. You'll execute a series of easy missions in your exploration, that will culminate in your blasting the airship out from the turtle's side, leaving a gaping wound. This is the set up to the last stage of your time in the starting area as you should now recruit healers to repair the gaping wound you produced in the side of the turtle. As you get them, your job is to guard them from a limitless number of enemies when they use their magic to treat the badly wounded turtle.

Once you have been successful in curing the turtle, you'll journey back to the temple in the middle of the zone. After you get through to the temple, you need to decide which faction you'll join. At this point you will be dropped into a hot air balloon as well as taken off to the right major town where you will continue questing and also leveling until you get to level 85 after which you will go back to Pandaria to complete levels 85-90.
