Nintendo 3DS Blue Review by a Gamer

By Todd Gilmer

Finally the Nintendo 3DS is launched and I will be one of the hundreds of people running to the game store to get it!I have been waiting for a long time for this console to arrive and now it is finally time.It was released here in the USA on March 27, 2011 with the UK and Australia to follow soon.Let me tell you about a crazy gamer like myself. I have played many games in my life before, more than you can ever imagine. However, I have never played a 3D game that require me to wear no glasses at all. This is the most exciting thing that I have been waiting.Looking at a 3D image without any glasses will be an awesome experience.

I want to see Link swing his sword around the game in order to save Zelda.Games like Star Fox, Kirby, Pokemon and Mario will also look awesome in 3D. Those are all great oldies, but Nintendo is planning to release some new games as well.If you have played any of the above game in 2D, then playing them in 3D will make you more excited.

I think the most fabulous thing about the new Nintendo 3DS is that it can display 3D without you having to wear a 3D glasses. Many people consider this to be a revolution in the gaming industry, as well as in the photo industry in general.

There is a built in slider that allows the player to determine how much 3D effect displayed during gameplay as well.User can adjust it according to his or her needs. It can be tweaked to the maximum or even to the minimum, giving you the standard 2D image. This is a fantastic feature offered by Nintendo for people who are not used to 3D effect.3D is not the only awesome thing that is included with the Nintendo 3DS.

There are cameras on the system that allow you to take pictures. For a quick explanation, the device will superimpose 2 images and blend them together, making a three dimensional image as a final result. This is a very nice feature to have considering the price of a 3D camera can be quite expensive at this point in time.

For gaming control, there is a new joystick like button on the console that is sure to help with controls. The stylus is also getting a makeover and is being referred to as a 'telescoping stylus', which leads me to assume it can be made shorter and taller. This feature is again another improvement from the old Nintendo DS and DSi console.

As I have said on the beginning of the article, I can't wait till I have my very own Nintendo 3DS blue delivered and the wait certainly is killing me. All I have to say though is that when I get my hands on that Nintendo 3DS blue my family and friends can expect to see a whole lot less of me and more of me online.
